What happened to the big push on buzz words "SASE" and "SDWAN" and "ZTA" and "EDGE"? Worn those out already?
Lumen has nothing new, it just keeps trying to coin a new phrase that's already a decade+ old.
I still laugh everytime I hear, "Private Connectivity Fabric."
And what would that exit strategy be? I figured it would go to a dollar and be pieced out. But now we've struck AI gold and have another 7 billion of deals in the pipeline and reversed course.
So that assessment doesnt make sense.
It did wonders for the stock price, over the cliff. Being just a fiber company is a one-way dead-end street. There's only so much you can bury, and then only so much you will light and charge for. It appears the Lumen board all voted to have the Lumen exit plan initiated.
