It's supposed to become effective at the beginning of January. Rumor has it that mostly our side will be affected. Does anyone know more? CVS is apparently moving towards significantly more contracting and offshoring. One can assume that not only this rumor is probably true, but that there will be more cuts and layoffs coming our way.

I'd consider it chatter. I think a high percentage of the chatter comes from disgruntled former employees who want to toss their upset onto others. They want to drag people down and spread rumors to make themselves feel better.
