This site has become my go-to for daily entertainment and is a snapshot of what's really happening within the company. On one side, you have PR people spinning a false positive narrative for investors, and on the other, frustrated employees trying to make sense of the chaos. In between, there are current and former employees who’ve checked out, poking fun at the whole situation. Most of what's shared here isn’t accurate—especially when it comes to claims about high morale, layoff with % confidence, or leadership—but it's certainly entertaining. Keep it going! The show must go on, at least until the curtain falls—whether the theater is closed, burned down, or sold. There will be layoffs, and this time, they should start at the top.

Do the signpost/warnings even matter anymore? Everybody should have their resumes ready by now, desks cleaned out with everything they want to keep at taken home, a little extra savings in the bank, and feelers out for who's hiring. The beat goes on.
hi to Mr/Mrs @1krq+1v4vlE4b
Yeah well I don't agree with you, but hey.
There is a lot of garbage posted here but IMHO it has been good at signposting warnings of layoffs at Viasat before they happen. Which is kind of the point.
And just maybe "this site go on radio silent the last week with all the exec org changes" because they were not interesting (Jimmy gets GEM, again, yawn......) and because the impact on staff & layoffs is unclear.
We do know all execs have been given cost targets, and we do know there will be many exits in November via the VRP and the secret involuntary cost cut program. I wish posters here would stick to those issues, maybe we agree on that....
Yep OP - nicely captured in terms of what is posted on this site and the accuracy (or lack thereof) of the information. IMHO It is going to be a rough ride over the next 12-18 months and I think Viasat will ultimately look a very different company to how it does now
Ah... Nothing like a reorg to inspire confidence and re kindle the work ethic. Lol
This is literally a website for baiting employees into spilling the tea for external shareholders and trolls to make moves against, nothing more. Any existing employee looking for news about layoffs or news affecting the stock price would know where to look before checking here. It was funny seeing this site go on radio silent the last week with all the exec org changes except the usual "lol stock" post. Stay mad and bootyblasted.
It's not over until the next $700M satellite fails.
