Disgusting! Was Rif a few months ago and now the same team I was on is hiring again for my same position! This company is the absolute worst. No wonder the stock has dropped over the past month! Gross business practices and treating employees like garbage!

GBD Encounters just riffed people and just posted open positions for the jobs they just riffed. Bodies aren’t even cold yet. And these are not offshore positions. What kind of baloney is this? I cannot wrap my head around that. If you don’t have money and need to rif, why hiring replacements. Just an fyi. You don’t want any of those jobs. Very toxic work environment
My team was just advised we’re losing one of our people, all while getting an update with our new hire that begins before the other person is done. Make it make sense. 🤔🤔
This exact thing happened to my entire team several years ago. They got rid of seasoned employees for cheaper labor. I think the replacements were also replaced eventually by offshore.
Pay attention to the jobs being posted offshore.
Those are the job families and functions they're going after. When they rif someone in the US, they open a slightly different job offshore or sometimes before.
Again, pay attention to how the titled are worded. If it's related to your job, then prepare as soon as possible to need a new job or transfer.
Do you know for sure they're actually going to hire someone for that position? Elevance is really superb at posting positions they don't intend to fill
Replace old employee with less expensive ones. They are greedy.
