Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Blood bath happening at US Bank. Avoid this company at all cost.

Who is responsible for this mess? Andy? Gunjan? Managing committee? You allowed this fu-kery to go on under your watch and did nothing about it and now thousands are losing their jobs. This and your botched RTO is a recipe for disaster.

Gone are the days of the amazing leadership of Richard Davis and his executive leadership team. The culture inside the bank has changed since his departure, declining slowly at first and more rapidly this past 2 years. It's unfortunate that new leadership seem to have forgotten or maybe just don't care about the beautiful legacy they inherited.

Operations was hit with layoffs a few weeks ago along with additional reorganizations that makes little sense other than cost saving measures. I believe Gunjan is driving much of this. Judging by the low morale and angry people I had to work with daily, the skeleton crew model will not be sustainable long-term. Once the job market improves, there will be a mass exodus from this he-l hole called US Bank. I recently left the Bank after 10 years and could not be happier! RIP US Bank- it was once a great place to work but it is nothing but out of touch leadership and misery now.

Seriously EFCC? Makes me feel so secure about the shady banking system now. I believe I just took one of the annual required online courses about 1 month before the bank decided my revenue producing role was no longer needed. I was a portfolio mgr in wealth. sorry for all those affected.

I’m with EFCC and they just let go NUMEROUS employees in Financial Crimes Operations, Customer Due Diligence and Economic Sanctions that were in CA, WA and OR. Some of these employees were here 15-20 years plus. The morale is at an all time low and instead of focusing on work and the upcoming holidays current employees are left wondering if they are next or for the unfortunate ones who were laid off wondering what to do. TR is the one who should be held accountable for the mismanagement, not the hard working employees that have had to deal with all his ridiculous change this year. JR needs to see the mismanagement and why results are cr-p all the time. I was also reading AC compensation was up 42% in 2023. Wonder what it will be in 2024? Maybe trimming a little from the top would help keep loyal employees who deserve better.
