Was laid off yesterday was acquired over from Union Bank. Was never given a defined roll finally after over a year was brought in to a team as a PA only to be laid off less than 4 months. Why did they even bring me over when the severance was a better option with Union. The lack of transparency since day one has been cr-p! At least at Union Bank they cared for their employees at least that was my experience. Wondering if a class action lawsuit is in the works.

USB is a dumpster, far worse than Union
It’s not a Vague acronym of you know all the different job roles at USB. Union was not a dumpster I’m sure if the role was reversed and Union acquired USB would you say USB was a dumpster? USB did a lot of Union bank employees dirty bringing us over only to let us go at the 2 year mark because we don’t fit into there business model which we never did. At least we were not blind sided they way USB did to several different LOB’s (Lines of Business) Try a little kindness towards us who lost our jobs, instead of telling me to be helpful.
Yes Project Analyst, Severance was 1 week for each year with company. Was with CRE. Was moved under different mangers 3 times and never given a defined role.
How many people in Brea got layoff? I thought all Union Bank employees had 2 years guaranteed jobs and no layoff ?
That just happened to Brea office this week. Exceptionally f-----d to convert everyone only to fire them under a worse severance package right after the ink dries.
What is PA?
Using vague acronyms doesn’t give anybody an idea where you were or what you were doing. Union was a dumpster fire and if you didn’t stay there, they didn’t want you, which is sad. Why don’t you share some details about notice and severance and things that are helpful?
