Right now this is only happening in SB, thy aren't moving to 60/40. They are moving from a target incentive quota to a variable rated card style of compensation

to add, theoretically if you are making 100% you get paid the same. But do any of us actually get to 100%? and Scannell did state that the new AEs in SMB would be inside and rebranded inside reps.

There was something on X that showed the details. Basically, base pay cut and more upside. Of course that all hinges on whether or not sellers actually have solid territories and attainable numbers. IBM pulled this cr-p years ago when I was working in sales there. In conjunction with RTO, just another way to make people leave through attrition, saving the company millions.
