Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Since I joined US Bank I had to deal with

Coworkers taking credit for my work and getting a promotion out of it
Managers blaming me when a project they mismanaged goes wrong
Leaders without zero leadership skills who never bother to stand up for their people
A completely useless HR

And that's just some of it. No wonder so many are walking away.

This is so accurate! I did all the things. All the trainings and job shadowing and coming up with new ideas. No recognition, almost annoyed that you are trying in my opinion. Questions are a bother and in general it seems no one cares and no one knows what’s going on. I got laid off today only to find an empty office with no internet or printers. Unable to print important documents and not allowed to email them to my personal account. After driving 30 minutes I then had do go to another location to sign out in HR then return to the office trusting someone will find my equipment as I left it. After almost a decade with this company and numerous extraordinary performance reviews and hard work it’s a slap in the face. I am happy to no longer be with such a soul su-king, lying and gaslighting company that doesn’t care that you exist.

The management here is some of the worst I have ever seen. Too many butt kissers being promoted into management positions they are unqualified for and have no background in. Many of them appear to be lacking basic empathy skills, but I assume their managers have done them dirty too. Make no mistake there are people in high paying positions here who do next to nothing and move no needles in the right direction. Wimps. Terrible role clarity, lack of direction, abhorrent technology. Unbearable layers of red tape to get the simplest things done. I could go on and on….
