Move to ILEC, sales reps at the local stores and online orders, the sales reps get paid for just creating a new account type (dropping phone, non pay) , and the CSTs, BSTs, get referrals/upgrade $. Win win for all. And yes, like someone else said, there’s people making 300k. I thought for sure they would cut it eventually as they were not “new”, but they keep paying out.
Yea they added it to the technicians list of things to do. Why pay sales when they can save money by paying a whopping 20 bucks to them. Now the latest is to have the customer service clowns upgrade customers to fiber if they call in a copper trouble and tell them they need to switch to fiber because the copper is being decommissioned. RUTHLESS
Remind me again, is it profit or revenue that keeps a place in business?
Its too bad these whale are waking up to how bad this companies service is.

CLEC guy here. Lost my only salesperson a year ago, laid off and position wasn't backfilled. Only thing we work is the big national accounts and wholesale.
The model is chasing whales. Only so many big whales in the ocean.
