These are horrible and I feel as though we are mistaken for id--ts who don't have a clue! I don't believe a word of this waste of time meeting.

The honesty and transparency is-
We are doing everything in our power to offshore and automate jobs. If you don't upskill, drink the kool-aid or get really good at flying under the radar, you will be rifed.
For the life of me, I don't understand why we don't just say that because all of our talk around it just creates toxicity. That's what they mean by working differently - work at something else not yet replaced, kiss enough A to become a staff vp or above, or do enough to get your 3.
This company is so funny. I cannot stop laughing. It's like watching the Three Stooges.
"Transformation Touchpoints Meetings" is just another way of saying "my calendar is busy". Fk that meeting. It's so boring and useless it puts me in a coma
His ending comment “we will be sure to let you know as much as you need to know”… as in us peons don’t need to know more than they are willing to share lol
There is no honesty or transparency in this company. They only continue to feed that lie.

Chief TO is annoyed when interacting with anyone not living in a crystal palace. I'm not sure there's a lot more than that to unpack. He's being transparent with who he actually is. It's the other leaders enabling him that are the problem. He isn't running this show without permission.
I couldn’t believe he said people were “excited”. So out of touch with their employees. It’s like a prison guard asking you if you like the food. Duh. What are they smoking over there? All this transformation garbage and nothing but anecdotal stories. Please stop having these meetings or be honest, you are using AI to trim workflows and people. I think they are doing this to get us onboard so when we are visited by the transformation fairy we comply

Absolutely amazing he has the nerve to say that many associates are excited about the changes (I'm sure those lower on the totem pole just agree and become good actors when he is visiting the physical locations). Most people I talk to in the office are sick of everything (and many have been through the multiple Transformation attempts that have done nothing to help the company).
Honesty and transparency from the dark lord of consultancy? I'm sorry that you set your expectations so high.
The TO is not here for us. The TO is here to impress the board. If it was here for us, they'd have hired someone who knows how to talk to people who aren't executives. I'm sure that's a skill, it's just not one you need in a period of bottom basement morale.
Also. They've added another white man to the TO decision making. So now we've got uppity white strategy man, uppity white finance man and uppity white talent man. Oh and sometimes they bring someone from IT in to comment, but only sometimes cause clearly only those without IT experience know how to transform the business using IT. We are reaching our goal of working horizontally, just on a white sheet of paper.
Its almost like we're doing the exact opposite of what the culture survey results said. Hmm. I think I've seen this movie before.
