Thread regarding Palo Alto Networks Inc. layoffs

💯 Awkward❗Who is going to inform Zuk about the "Wink 😉 Wink/Hush Hush Firing"❓

".....Zuk also spoke about what he sees as Palo Alto’s biggest challenge at the moment. “The main challenge is always finding good people. Not just in Israel, but all over the world. We have more than a hundred open positions that are hard to fill"

Ha ha ha. I thought I read a post about the TOXIC head of marketing, and how it's insane that he still has his job. And it was deleted. Typical

I love how the HR dept only want to hire people with large company experience; yet our founder tells the market he wants hungry start up people and has prejudice against large company employees (which are all of Palo's employees). So this is why they don't want sales people with more than 3 yrs tenure and have a revolving door?

We prefer acquisitions. The reason we prefer acquisitions is because when a large company develops something new, the people that are doing it don't have the same incentives as those that do it in their startup. In a large company it’s not life or death if something you develop is successful or not,” added Zuk

I think you missed the point.

PANW is wanting to acquire. They appear to be bullying the at target to get them to agree to a lower price/Cost of Acquisition.
Nikesh is publicly 'belittling' whomever it is by claiming the mid-size groups will not make it.
Nir is claiming that they will not 'over pay". The market valuation for the group Nikesh is commenting on is much higher than any previous acquisitions.

I agree with another comment on this board.

Nikesh and Nir are taunting whomever they are in negotiations with to buy.
