Is there going to be any reorg or T-Mobile layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

who will do it first. Will the chinese layoff the indians. Or will the indians layoff the chinese. Lets see people. Hardly nobody is left here except the Chinese and the Indians.
Why don't you wait till the 2024 reorg is finished? You may not need to worry about 2025.
Just plan for it to happen! Create an emergency fund of at least 6 months worth of expenses. Budget your money and eliminate frivolous spending. You will have piece of mind. If it doesn’t happen, you will have a nice chunk of change to fall back on at some point.
Also, keep your resume updated. Apply for jobs even if you don’t plan on leaving TMO.it will help keep your interview skills sharp.
Look outside of tech. Tech is going to continue to get squeezed. My wife and I both work in tech. We just decided she will look for work in a different industry to make sure our earnings are from diversified resources.
Bottom line, have a plan. Don’t live in fear and ignore 99% of the BS you read on anonymous sights like. It’s usually people looking to stir the pot and get a reaction.
Believe that it will be ok and it will
Did you watch the Capital Markets Day event? OpenAI partnership. Customer Service will soon be replaced by ChatGPT-4o voice. Customer will soon call into Care and speak with a machine.
Bye bye CSCs
Yes. T-Mobile will report lower then expected 4th Quarter revenue because they already got the stock price bump from raising plan prices but have done nothing to train and develop the front line to get customers to upgrade their plans, get P360 or accessories. This will lead to poor revenue results. Poor revenue results will lead to layoffs in 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025 because it will be the only way to improve the stock price. The laziness and ineptitude of the SLT team will rear its ugly head in 2025.
Damn? Let's get out of 2024 first.. silly rabbit, layoffs will always happen. Nothing new
Yes. You have been WARN'd.
There will always be layoff and reorgs in corporate America. T-Mobile is constantly changing and chasing a stock price. With that, employees are expendable to show profits. My word of advice is to have a plan b and don’t stress on predicting a date of termination. Just be ready for the inevitable.
