Especially in the UK? Doctors and Train Drivers got pay rises this year because they negotiated with the unions.

The four UK unions at DXC were trying to do something last year. There was a general communication from them last December, but since then nothing. So I guess they got nowhere and DXC fobbed them off with the promise of a pay review for all in 2024
Yes Unite
UK Works Council is not like a union. They have no power at all, it's just a token gesture by DXC so they can bang on about how much they care about staff. In Europe workers councils have a bit more power but in UK it's just consultation for show.
DXC being an American company do not recognize unions.
Their take is yes you can join a union, but you will be wasting your money.
I know this as unions was brought up on a FAQ while FDS is being TUPE'd across to DXC
The workers council is like a union. They have representatives from around the company.
