How long until USB and all the other major banks follow suit?

Hopefully this backfires on them and their best talent walks out the door.
It's just to get people to quit. Poor leadership. My guess is Andy will leave soon and is dumping this ship on Gunjan.
Probably by fall 2025 they will cave and claim that we need to collaborate more.
We will be punished for working remotely for 4+ years by having less flexibility than we ever had before, even pre-covid.
Set your clocks. We'll fold in six months to a year after BoA implements it in Jan 2025 and announce plans in Dec/Jan just in case leadership can get ppl to resign before paying out bonuses.
@dqr+1uz3Q0dh is that legal? Are there no laws protecting the employee (say... who was contractually hired remote)?
I've heard Gunjan is gunning for 5 days a week.
For those who did not work the 3-day RTO, Amazon changed their status to "voluntary resignation" meaning they were fired with no severance or not considered a layoff.
I wonder if anyone on their death bed ever regretted not spending more time in the office. I have many regrets but that won't be one of them
Blaming the shift from 3 to 5 days on those who didn't always comply with 3 day RTO is the height of cluelessness. Way to play into managing committees hands.
@aia+1uz3Q0dh, that's their goal. The squeeze is to get more people to quit on their own. Classic McK...y playbook at display here. But there aren't enough spots to house RTO on a full-time basis so the struggle continues. Exec Mgmt will go down as a case study for poorly implemented RTO. Never seen a more lost bunch.
If people are ignoring the current 3 day RTO, how would making it 5 days increase compliance? Doesn't make sense.
There aren’t enough hubs or desks and these hubs are far away from home in most cases since they aren’t keeping current locations open
There aren’t enough desks for us all to go back to work full time
This will happen because of all the people ignoring RTO, I will blame them
Next year, 5 days work week
