Directors have to make more. That's on the lower end of senior engineer pay at Alteryx. Promotions to that level have been given out as participation trophies for a decade.

The NLRA, a federal law, PROHIBITS employers from interfering with employees' rights to discuss wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment. Similarly, California labor laws reinforce these protections, making it ILLEGAL for employers to prohibit or discourage employees from discussing their wages.

Why all the compensation envy?
  • Because ICs are getting sc--wed.
Has anyone stopped to think that maybe SOME senior directors perhaps EARN what they make?

*🤦🏽‍♀️Cringe.

Since you are disclosing salary levels, what is the range that Directors make? And VPs?

Directors $170,000 - $230,000 - VPs $300,000 - $380,000+

Depends on department.

Why all the compensation envy? Thinking a bit contrarian, and though I’m not anywhere near a Sr. Dr, has anyone stopped to think that maybe SOME senior directors perhaps EARN what they make?

I can’t talk to the politics and mean-girl-ness. I haven’t seen it, but if whistleblower reports are needed and indeed true, then they should DEFINITELY be reported.

Seems like a pretty petty & pointless discussion, at least with regard to salary.

Current environment bringing out the worst in people, yes?

The bottom liners are joining forces, openly discussing their salaries.

NYCE! Both the IT and Branding teams have begun a trend, and it has become widely embraced. Congratz!! SPEAK UP!

Most managers/senior-managers are paid under 155,000, while Senior Directors are making 250,000 and more.

Jirina's direct reports are causing her distress with their manipulative behavior, and all she can do is smile and wave her hands around.

Will the ring leader Regina George please stop?

The bottom liners are joining forces, openly discussing their salaries received from Alteryx and the extent of the mistreatment they experienced from their managers/directors.

Since a Gen-Xer like myself faced threats for sharing my salary, I commend you, young men and women, for standing up against an injustice that affected our lives greatly.

My respect goes to Millennials and Gen Z individuals who are bravely fighting back against this issue. Give 'em he-l!

So far, all the rumors were true. This one is little bit vague but who knows?

There are not net new layoffs happening. Just previously known departures where people are leaving as jobs are transitioned to India.

That's what they said after each previous layoff. We know the current leadership were instructed to keep repeating that layoffs won't happen.

Kindly shut the he-l up.

These are not layoffs. These are previously known about, scheduled and expected departures that were done from the previous layoff.

Stop fear mongering.

What are the chances they layoff another batch just before the end of the year to avoid paying bonuses, commissions & retention bonuses?
