Probably like most remote workers in NAM we don't get to have water cooler chats and many of our previous collegues have either moved on, retired or already been laid off.
Im interested to know if there is any info on the 1st Thursday of October RIF specifically in CNS and MN.

I'm sure they will ruin the optics business just like the wireless business. Unfortunately, I retired from NOK and did not get laid off with at least a little severance. The best thing was getting out. They do not appreciate the talents of their workforce. We were once told the key to Nokia's success is its procedures, not its people. Who says that at a stand-up meeting. Good riddance.
Yes layoffs happened yesterday in MH, NJ- optics group around 10%
It happened yesterday in MN.
It is always the 2nd Thursday in the month, no worries in this week, but will see in the following Thursday

It is a good thing if you are laid off by Nokia, you will know what I am talking about here later. I am very happy I am not working for Nokia any more.
