I mean, it wouldn’t be a shocker. Anthem is going for as much offshoring as it can get away with and suffer no consequences at least for now. I wouldn’t mind being laid off in the next round, as I see no future in this company for any of us. For that matter, I see no future with this company for our clients, either.

If your RIF this quarter (Oct-Jan) then your eligible for your a portion of your AIP.

October is 100% confirmed, but not sure of the date. There are three non-payday Thursday possibilities this go round: 10/3, 10/17, or 10/31. The previous RIFs have been mid-month to my knowledge, which would be right on for the 17th.
There are many roles that are pure administrative cost reductions vs moving roles offshore. More work, grow the business, unfortunately without the resources.
