Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Operations Layoffs

Does anyone have any insights on upcoming layoffs or offshoring in operations? As others noted, U.S. Bank did update its strategic objectives on intranet site....what do they have planned?

@1ek1. Yes was offered to relocate but I am taking the severance and plan on collecting unemployment benies! Going to take time off gor a little bit until the benies ran out !
I figured relocating is not logical, I could still get laid off down the road.

Were you offered the option to relocate - or take severance package? (assuming 52 weeks with your years of service)

"I am in WCIB Ops in the Wasshington and was notified to be laid off due to the HUB strategy. The option is to relocate to Portland, AZ, Wisconsin or St. Paul MN.
After more than three decades with USB, yes I am disappointed, angry but I will be okay and soon get over it. It was a good run!"

There are about a dozen unsuspecting people in the smarmy Clements organization who will be history at the end of the month. Toby has said nothing but his directs are spilling the beans all over the place.

I am in WCIB operations, there’s been small layoffs almost every month from various departments, one or two people let go due to reorg or if they weren’t on the right location.

I am worries I will be next soon. Not a lot of stability when you keep seeing your co worker being let go for strategic reasons, I.e., cutting expenses for efficiency
