Most prominent, soulless corporations follow the trend Amazon started. It reminds us never to trust management or emotionally attach to the company. It is only a matter of time before F5 follows suit.

I used to see the benefits of in office working back in the days of the old building where you would daily bump into most every senior leader. Now you see very few of them as they are ensconced in their Ivory Tower.

F5 doesn't care about you as you can be easily replaced. You are nothing more than a number in a spreadsheet.
F5 will likely follow and impose the same policies. After all, companies have mastered how to get rid of people "without getting rid of people".
From the recent talks I've had with managers and leaders in SJ and Seattle, the chances are very high that we will transition to a 5 day in-office schedule.
Very high probability that F5 will follow - F5 is a follower - hasn't and doesn't know how to lead.
