Amazon RTO mandate now requires 5 days per week in office, what are the chances F5 will follow suit?

Most prominent, soulless corporations follow the trend Amazon started. It reminds us never to trust management or emotionally attach to the company. It is only a matter of time before F5 follows suit.

"curious about the implications for full-time remote employees"

I predict lawsuits, at least in some European countries.

I’m curious about the implications for full-time remote employees will be if F5 returns to mandatory five-day in-office workweek.

100%! Fire those not complaint at $0 cost. Much cheaper than layoffs.

Very likely

Not likely. Stop fear mongering. Just because amazon did it, doesn't mean everyone else has to.

They have to utilize that big shiny HQ so must definitely 5 days mandatory.

I used to see the benefits of in office working back in the days of the old building where you would daily bump into most every senior leader. Now you see very few of them as they are ensconced in their Ivory Tower.

"malicious compliance"? What does that entail? Damaging property?

As indicated before - use technics of malicious compliance when forced back.

F5 doesn't care about you as you can be easily replaced. You are nothing more than a number in a spreadsheet.

F5 will likely follow and impose the same policies. After all, companies have mastered how to get rid of people "without getting rid of people".

From the recent talks I've had with managers and leaders in SJ and Seattle, the chances are very high that we will transition to a 5 day in-office schedule.

Very high probability that F5 will follow - F5 is a follower - hasn't and doesn't know how to lead.
