We welcome all former laid off MetLife employees joining AIG and Corebridge. Great to see you all filling up the laid off positions. Your expertise will help both the companies with new blood instead of useless former employees.

You must be a great interview. Go touch some grass with the complete inferiority complex.
There are scads of former AIG people with every AIG competitor.
Only way to be considered worthless is if that is the reputation earned with former co-workers who are now with other companies.
Does not apply to the majority of people with AIG on their resume. Like someone else said it is a work world combat medal.
If your resume has for experience MetLife chances of getting a job in AIG or Corebridge is high. If your resume says AIG or Corebridge yo will not get job anywhere because you are considered useless by the outside world.
I have heard of this MetLife stories from lot of people. Somebody was saying these guys took away all the credits from the people who did the actual work and pushed themselves up the ladder by laying off the actual work people. Dog eat its own puppy kinda of a story.
I hope this was meant to be sarcastic. Coming from a laid-off ex employee I can tell you there are some amazing folks that worked and work for AIG and Corebridge. And there are dead weight useless employees as well. Seems there is no in-between. Too bad the former gets caught up with the ladder.
