Who cares? T-Mobile does nothing but stupid things because the people who are making the decisions are id--ts. And, that cascades down through the Directors and Senior Managers, who are too scared to dissent or disagree. Instead, they push it down to the front line for them to actually figure out how to implement the idiocy.

They are saying no RIF right now, but for how long? The company has got into a habbit of layoffs. There will be another round soon.

Joe isn't the only leader that is pushing this. Stephane and Joe are of the same mind when it comes to the area model. Both are Magenta leaders also.

We are also being told that if you push against the area model that it will reflect on bonus and raise.

The area model is why field and switch was hit the hardest in the CR for 2023 layoffs.

Agreed, if a terrible idea gets trickled down, it definitely came from Joe. As much as I blame Sprint for a lot of things, Joe was doing d-mb sh-t well before that. I was on alot of the RNE&O meetings to discuss implementing his baffoonery, definitely had to mute so I can bust out laughing on multiple occasions. They should have left him in the switch.

This is what happens when you let the rocket scientists from Sprint take charge. They couldn't operate a one hole outhouse successfully.

Maybe the area model will stop. Especially Appalachian Model. Whoever came up with it should be tarred and feathered and the managers that supported it should be pup on PIP. The creation of the CRT position and the rebranding of FOPS to FST and removing switch people wasn't employee or customer friendly. People are needed to fill critical positions, start hiring. Not popular to say but bring people back to the office, especially RF, Dev and managers.
