Ever started a new job and realized it was nothing like you thought it would be? The culture is wrong for you, your duties don't align with what was in the job description, and stuff like that. What's the best way to figure out what the workplace is truly like before you commit?

If you work at AIG it's hard to find worst companies in the same sector...still possible, but hard. Company culture here is a shitstorm, however my managers and colleagues are fine and I love working with them, but that's pure luck probably. Still I would like to change
Learn as much as you can while you’re there and leave on good terms. The Insurance community is small and you never know who you may work for in the future! Make it work for you!
I left Aon to come to AIG what a big mistake the culture here is horrendous and the managers have the brains of first graders.
Don't leave your current job until 2 weeks after accepting the offer at the new company. That will give you some time to gauge the work culture and, if you like it, leave your current job. If not, just quit the new job and keep looking.
