I am so sick and tired as a subject matter expert doing everybody else’s job and never getting credit for it. These people and management will take credit for your work and receive recognition and not even tell you about it. Another gripe is that most of my team seems to suffer from migraines so they call out a couple times every single week and it’s OK for me to inconvenience myself for their convenience. There’s a saying that states it’s not the people it’s the process. That’s incorrect. It’s totally the people.

One of managements job is to promote associates and their work. Too often a manager will say something to someone higher up and will do what ever is necessary to save face. That includes taking credit and giving credit to others. It’s all about the story being told and constantly backing up the claims made. Can’t deviate as it’s perceived as weakness.
