Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Expressing Discontent

The last week has been awful. Feels like everyone and everything in the company is being destroyed.

Management are staying silent. They are all afraid to push back on those above.

Teams are being ripped apart and there will be clear financial harm to the company but no one wants to hear it.

The point of this post is that there is no clear way to voice discontent with the C-suite. The best course of action for all of us is to leave but that takes time.

Cut back on your days in the office, or don't come in at all if you can. Don't quote for new business. These are things the exec will see

Q3 and Q4 need to have poor results.

Management are unintellegint bots! They have no leadership skills whatsoever. Delete them from your network and when they come begging for a job don't help them. They can keep their AIG loyalty until they get sc--wed, then they will learn their lesson.

The MetLife staff hired are doing their best to cash their shares so that they can return to MetLife again. AIG as usual.

I am d-mbfounded on what is going on with this company. Feels like they are just running it to the ground.

They have zero plan for department which were paralyzed by the VERP but yet keep on with RIFs and then have the audacity to tell us we need to pick up the slack but will not get compensated for it.

I am doing exactly what I have to, no more no less and not working one minute pass my time .
