Corp comm is a joke. It's a propaganda machine run by Gail's bff. I will never stop being amazed at the lengths the company will go to NOT talk directly about what associates care about. The number of meetings and approvals it takes for a simple statement is crazy especially when you look at what is published. This is professional gaslighting. SLT, corp comm and HR should all have certifications for lack of integrity. I'm not at all sure why we bothered having that value since leadership lacks that inparticular. They pumped out respect training and now confrontational conversation. Um. You wouldn't need that if you treated your associates with respect and actually confronted their concerns head on instead of running away from the actual truth. For the love of all things, just stop with all the charades.

There was at least a Linked ELV post listing the Empire BCS employees who were lost on 9/11. I guess that’s something.
HR and Communications teams are too busy RIF'ing people or trying to find new ways to spin messages about the chaos that is this company. They can't be bothered to think about anything else. Which is a shame especially since back in 2001 we had a office in the World Trade Center and our employees were there on that day.
