Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

3000+ to be royally scre—d this month

About 15-20% to get laid off this month as the WFR list is almost done. Those rated 1 or 2 and certain % of those rated 3. Number game begins.

Or royally liberated from the BS that is Gainwell Technologies. I prefer to think of it that way.

The WARN Act may not apply in this situation. Usually it is only required if a certain number at a specific site are going to be let go. Since Gainwell operates fairly remotely I think they can get around that. Also if you read the WARN Act is it very favorable to companies overall. Really only companies with a large workforce congregated in one site are going to report via WARN. Also companies in financial trouble also have a way to skirt the WARN act so Gainwell could definitely claim that issue as well.

Looked for Warn notice and don’t see Gwt listed. Shouldn’t be a 3000+ layoff without notice so this month should be less than 50 team members

My fear is that the folks at the end of the WFR will get no severance, where the previously trickled WFR’s did receive it. Thoughts? Anyone know if executive leadership has discussed this possibility?
