“Prioritizing and personalizing your self-care”

The summer RIF was a major blow, leaving teammates struggling with stress and anxiety. Yet, their "prioritize your self-care" message feels more like a corporate shrug than a genuine concern.

While self-care is important, it feels tone deaf for them to say, “Go take care of the mess we made. It’s your problem”. Companies need to create a supportive work environment that doesn't contribute to mental health crises.

I don’t know anyone “drinking the koolaid”. The job market su-ks and most of my department is trying their hardest to get out.

There is no supportive environment here. All they do is pile more and more work on you and expect you to shut up and do it. They won’t get rid of individuals who have a record of corruption and malpractice yet they promote them to be bullies to everyone underneath them. Wow, what a great place to work!
