AIG seems like a completely different company now compared to several years ago. It feels like there’s only negative feedback and isolation these days. Does anyone work in a department that still puts in effort and truly cares about their people? Things just aren’t the same anymore.

I stopped caring a long time ago. Nothing is really important, I just work for the paycheck and clock out. Whatever happens after 5 is a tomorrow problem. If it is urgent Accenture or someone who cares can try to help fix it.
Hearing that folks who joined from MetLife had been saved by their savior from the current round of layoffs. The savior should rather save resources that will be useful for him/her.
When you outsource everything, you loose your personality. You become vanilla and have no competitive edge. This is AIG.
The days of AIG of being a powerhouse is over with some managers running it and the way they treat their employees it’s sad. They want to be Goldman so bad but they will never reach that level.
