The first "Help me, I'm at risk" posts have hit LinkedIn, right on cue.
Were any further redundancies announced? I haven’t heard anything, but morale is low everywhere and there’s worry another series of cuts is on the way.
If it your turn to get RIF'd keep in mind everything is going to be okay. Get your package, sign up for unemployment (US), get your resume looking good, and enjoy the holidays. It takes time to detox.
Make a list of people with whom you want to work . Come January call or text these contacts. Make a plan. Before you know it, you will have a better job with colleagues who are actually nice and supportive. You will question why you stayed at LSEG for so long. #BrighterFutre #TrustMe
I can guarantee there is going to be another wave of redundancies due to be announced within the next two weeks, but for anyone impacted - consider it a blessing in disguise.
So relieved to be going! It was like a prison sentence working in my area of LSEG. A waste of life would be an accurate description of my experience.

That's certain – we may see the first announcements by the end of September. The Sales division of D&A seems to be the primary target this time. Provisions have been made for potential severance packages. Meanwhile, employees are already leaving for competitors.
Should we expect something before next year?
