Interesting Read that Applies to Fidelity

Really good read that I feel applies to fidelity and how current leadership is viewing the company… simply as a framework of generating profit versus being a market leader.

An excellent article. Thanks for sharing.

My experience with Fidelity as a branch employee was witnessing branch managers who valued scorecards and profit over coaching and vision. In the process, I saw branches in my area become a revolving door of advisors. Some advisors weren’t worth the office chair they sat on, however, many were competent individuals who went on-after being managed out of Fidelity-to have successful financial planning practices.

When you have a branch manager peek his head into your office every afternoon and ask you if you’re “making bacon” or if you’re “ringing the cash register” then you get a good idea of what is being prioritized from the C-suite on down.
