Update your skills is a cover for the systemic ageism that exists at the bank. October will be brutal for long-term employees.

Why do you worry about RTO when RCA mgr posts from a different RV park every two weeks. She isn’t nor is her team worried or working. Vendor mgr posts on social daily shopping and babysitting. Mortgage site mgmt posts weekly a different trip to see family and pool days or new car buying expedition. They aren’t RTO or working either. Don’t worry about it

Skills to help deal with change is just technology speak for , your skills are no longer needed, here are some classes to pump up your resume so you can look elsewhere.

Folks need to get over the RTO stuff. No matter how much whining, threatening to quit etc, it’s not ever going to change. If anything it will move to 5 days quickly. They know the job market is awful, no matter what the Democrats say and are betting that most of us need our pay and benefits more so than working remote. They are in the drivers seat. The folly is that they are selling collaboration as a benefit when people are still in locations spread across the country. Also they have really messed up the office space and now you spend just as much time in some location to find a place to sit .

It was Dilip's call and Andy was the CIO who got frustrated at all the RTO related questions. He basically said we needed to stop assuming that by asking RTO questions the company would change their RTO policy. I can sense the MC / Exec Mgmt frustrations that more people aren't quitting as they had expected LOL! Keep on the good fight!

Who hosted the call and who was the audience? I'm home based, and did not get an invitation.

What call was this? I was on another call where a big cheese told us ‘no one likes it and we get it but, you just need to accept it’.

That call was a joke. At least they finally admitted that RTO was the law of the land, there's no going back, and that they do not care how we feel. Most of the questions on the poll was about RTO. Morale is so low I don't think that it can get lower. Also, we shouldn't have to watch prerecorded demos videos in the call. That could have been an email.

Having a current resume and constantly being actively searching for and open to new roles at other companies is in high demand as a skill at USBank.
