How do I attest each week that I'm unemployed to qualify for supplemental unemploymnt? Is there a website that I go to? I emailed HR like 4 times and they haven't gotten back to me at all. Does anyone here know?

You have to apply for unemployment. Your state unemployment office will verify with Anthem you were laid off. Once Anthem confirms with the state you applied and they have your signed waiver, Anthem will email you a “Welcome” email with information on how you will attest weekly with Anthem to get your supplement pay. This is end of day Thursday. Shockingly the Anthem site is very easy and quick to attest that you tried to look for a job and are willing to work and you have not found work yet. They have a phone number also. This was/is my experience from being recently RIF’d. I only got my welcome email last Wednesday. I would imagine the delay could be you needing to meet the requirements, or your state being slow or Anthem laid off so many people they are behind schedule. I will be shocked if my deposits happen without any gaps from my last Anthem “working” paycheck.
Make sure you state on your unemployment application you are NOT getting severance but unemployment supplement or else you’ll get rejected.
I also have to attest weekly with my state unemployment which for me is on Sundays as the week begins on a Sunday and ends on Saturday. Each state Is probably different but for me it is far more involved than what Anthem is requiring as I have to prove that I applied for two jobs a week etc. etc.
Lastly you should get mail sent to you from your state that outlines what Anthem said you were making and how that will factor into your check amounts from them…which is very little but better than nothing. The supplement Anthem provides will be welcomed when you see that amount.
Good luck it is like a full time job in the beginning getting things set up and knowing the scheduled requirements.
I received an email weekly from Anthem that I had to answer two questions:
Are you still unemployed?
Are you looking for work?
I replied each week and my check just continued to same account, every other week, as if I was still working.
Log into unemployment. Search unemployment . You will need to create an account. You can sign up to have the payment go directly into your checking account. Every two weeks you ' certify' yourself ( not in a mental institution lol ) by answering their questions .. have you looked were you sick etc.. once you answer those questions they will start sending you your supplemental. anthem has already communicated to the unemployment office in your area. Hope this helps. Blessings
You will send information on how to access the website. Check the separation package they sent to you,
