To become more contemporary doesn’t solely requiring being younger….To become more accepting of change and difference isn’t solely generational….To be innovative doesn’t require you be a technologist, designer or newbie to the company or effort….Stop looking at the surface layer and aligning yourself with the individuals with future forward vision, courage and know how. . Big A has, as many others, fallen into the trap of new shiny objects, surface level ideals that are a variation of what is done today and fall well short of creating a new way of processing and competing .…. And #1 TWF fanboi just helped raise the IQ of everyone….with an index finger post!
I’m guessing you typed this word salad using your index fingers only and it took 20 minutes, pretentious boomer.
Someone has been on ChatGPT and asked 'can you tell me something pretentious to write about Allstate?'
The top few layers in Chicago are a detriment to this company. Narrow minded, unoriginal, boring, and low IQ individuals with almost zero business acumen. Out of their league and out of talent. They have votes of no confidence all around. That is the problem with Allstate.
I don't think the company fallen into the trap of new shiny things. We've pivoted every few years to a "new" thing since Suren was brought on board. The issue with the current new shiny things is that they are changing the very core of the company. while cutting off any chance to roll back to how we used to do things if/when it bo--s. There's no evidence this is going to work.
On the IT side of things, we should always be looking at new ways of doing things across the board, but we can't be jumping in with two feet without doing a lot of due diligence and having confidence in those who are making the decisions and driving the change.
I think the current changes and proposed future state is built on a foundation of sand because there's little confidence in the proposed system and the decision makers.
