I am shocked to see the ABU PE PDR continues to undermine employees and cultivate a fear of retaliation against those who don't bow to him. He should prioritize listening over speaking when engaging with others. His poor leadership is very demoralizing.

Hey OP, just curious as a fellow ABU PE, what sort of things I should look out for regarding KS. I haven’t had much to do with him but about to start looking for my next move next year.
I don’t want a PDR that does nothing but go to Houston to hob knob with the clowns for a weeks vacation basically!
Better than those we’ve had in the past, and don’t anticipate a better outcome in the future, or in another oil company. I’ve already looked.
PDR;s are generally small people who find a way to do soft jobs to avoid real work. Career management is important so let folks who actually work and know whats needed represent people instead of the light weights the have always clamored for the role so they can feel important.
