SMT 900 Garage Nightmare

This week took me 20 minutes just to get out of the 900 SMT garage. Such a sh*t show. Then 15 mins to make it to Rt 7. And that results in Rt 7 being a total standstill.

All in all, an increase of about 45 mins to the commute verse previous Dynamic Weeks. Even waiting until shortly 5:30pm, still a mess.

Don’t let them memory whole the FOUR YEARS we worked from home successfully supporting record volumes. If misery is their goal - success! (And don’t waste your time typing some shortcut to thinking comment about how awesome being in the office is. All it does is reduce everyone’s quality of life, which should matter to an employer).

Wfh again? That’d be nice. I miss the days of no one on the streets and 2.5 years of wfh.

No worries, we'll be RTO again https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/4867374-cdc-bird-flu-missouri-case-no-animal-contact/

Last week in 900 I talked to soooo many people in my group (during my assigned lunch time of course) - EVERYONE is miserable and some admittedly depressed. I talked to newer processors up to grade 7 directors and in between. Knowing your voice doesn’t matter, how negatively it impacts your life doesn’t matter and how they keep heaping on more and more requirements - seems their only goal is to push people to their breaking point so they quit. I can’t believe it’s come to this.

Don't forget there aren't not enough desks either. When this gets out it will merit a good news article on what not to do when your financial forecaster allows you to over hire. Then, instead of taking the hit, you take it out on your people. You might want to 0figure out how to prevent this error in the future and leave the workers alone. You're pi----g people off and without them, you are nothing.

The parking lot was full on a Friday in smt. I have never seen that in my decade here. Next week is not going to get better. What a nightmare. And for what? So many problems to solve and this has su-ked up so much of our collective energy. No meeting starts without everyone complaining.
RTO mandate is so inefficient. So unnecessary.
