After adrenaline went down I turned around and realized that there was nothing to be happy about. Don’t get me wrong - it’s good to still have a job atm given the state of affairs and the outlook. I still wish I was thrown to the wolves and actually had no choice but to look for another job.

I wish I was laid off in the first round when there was a bigger payout and more job opportunities, before the industry ground to a halt.
I know people that got the full year last year and still haven’t found a new position.

Looking for a job for free? What does that even mean? Perhaps this person has been with Crown for many years and regrets they didn’t get the severance package that could be a year’s salary in some cases.
