I’ve talked to around 20 people in the last two weeks who are now on PIPs???

“ The more workers are back in the office, the better for commercial real estate and economy”
Aren’t we supposed to be more concerned about the “climate change”, pollution and saving our planet? Hypocrisy!
RTO is a tax incentive that F5 receives from the city of Seattle. The more workers are back in the office, the better for commercial real estate and economy, creating jobs, increase revenues for businesses whom are obligated to pay more city and business taxes to the city and the state.
I hope they have put useless Directors in PIP and fire them.
“I’m not sure if it’s considered a “PIP” or not but my manager has me on a goal to get to 30 in office days in the tower”
You should be on a PIP. How do you not know this is companywide mandatory requirement for people 30 miles from an office? Like previously stated, plenty of emails and all-hands meetings repeatedly have stated the policy and consequences. People have already been fired for noncompliance in previous quarters. Don’t read emails regarding policies or attend all-hands at your own peril. What else have you missed?
“ I’m not sure if it’s considered a “PIP” or not but my manager has me on a goal to get to 30 in office days in the tower for this current quaryer “or I could face termination”. I never thought it would come to this at f5”
Have you not read the 6,000 emails regarding the goal already? The tool for tracking it? It has been pounded into most of us for over the last three quarters. And yes, HR will terminate you. Your boss won’t have much say. Read the corporate emails that come out. Learn how to submit requests for exceptions via the tool.
Malicious compliance to RTO is just show up but don't interact with anyone. Keep quiet/silent at meetings.

PIPs and terminations for not meeting the RTO numbers are common these days in North America. That does not surprise me.
glad not to be a part of the F5 he-l hole anymore....
tell us more...
Have you???
