Leadership keeps telling us to be resilient and giving us self-care tips. That is about as helpful as when a gigantic bully grabs your arm and repeatedly slaps you in the face with your own hand saying “Stop hitting yourself.” Anyone who has been had their face slapped through at least one reorg and is still working for Chevron is pretty resilient already…I don’t think mindfulness and gardening are going to solve anything.

It's just a lie to the left
And a lie to the right
Put your head in your hands
Then you stress all night
And you know they do it all over again

Wow. Downvotes to this post coming in second by second. I’m told Shared Services is hard at work today.
Inconceivable!

When they talk about resilience, focus on what you can control, and self care, you know some big sh!t is coming.
If you're selfish and know it, clap your hands
If you're greedy and self serving, clap your hands
If you say one thing but mean another
If you really can't even bother
If you're selfish and you know it, become a chevron leader
When your kids ask what's an oxymoron just say Chevron Leadership.
There is no re org coming. I've checked and I don't believe there is a re org happening. ABU managers. Chevron way.
Guys “just focus on what you can control” .

"We can together all make it better"... For me.
How’s whining about it working out for you?
My favorite is being told to "Be a Leader.." or "We can only do this together..". Are we still talking about losing my job here?
