Three long term medical directors had to reapply for their positions. Guess what? They were let go. Such a heartless way to terminate people. Also told we cannot hire or extend temp staff.

They have no values and those new behaviors they came out with are BS, it’s a cult!
I would love to see some people apply for their positions. This sounds interesting. Can work both ways, some people have been held back that could really benefit the company in different roles.
I hate to tell you this, but the company doesn't even try to live up to it's "core values" anymore. If they did, a lot of the isht I see happen wouldn't be happening. I can remember when root causes actually got fixed and member services answered questions. Those were the days.
Many of the individual players care about our members. The company itself cares only for profit and shareholders. The rest is just unnecessary fluff to them.
I wonder if it was a state plan that recently, or will be moving under corporate?
Either way, to make them reapply for the job just to let them go seems unnecessary. I am sure the powers to be had a good idea of who they were going to keep and who they were letting go.
No clue who these people are or why their position was eliminated. But I’m curious if they lived up to the company core Values: Accountability, Courage, Curiosity, Trust, Service? Or where they just after a paycheck (hefty one- at that)? If they didn’t truly live by the values, maybe they needed to go and that was the legal way to get it done. I’m no lawyer or HR, very low on the totem pole. But I see some corrupt greedy money hungry people- leaving and I think it’s a good change.
