I can train someone to do my job. Not many others can and I don't see any incentive to do so.
Offshoring to India is not new, lots of companies have tried it, there is plenty of material to read on the subject if you are interested. If the task is really repeatable with standards and procedures, then it works great in India. If it is not, India is not the best place to get work done, it will take longer and cost more.
Now, think about what you do, can it be repeated like that? Could you train someone to do your job remotely?
That is not to say all Indians are hopeless procedure followers, they are clearly not, there are exceptional individuals, they are just as rare as here, and won't be interested in being cheap labor for long (high turnover).
The ones who won't leave are the highly paid 20+ mor0ns that keep dragging down the ship. Their eyes are on retirement - nothing else. If they laid off all that fat they might function like an ENGINE

Agree 100% with OP @jrn. Do nothing and keep collecting. They are pushing us to quit voluntarily. No fu--ing way.
Polish your resume, start applying for external jobs and interviewing. Dont stress nor loose temper. Take care of yourself and family and dont let this sinking ship gets to your emotions and destroy your self confidence.
What a situation these cowards have put us in.
They are telegraphing the boiling so 50% quit and they can avoid severance.
Take that new job, don’t quit. Let them fire you. It’ll take them 6 months.
