T should be sold to Accenture so she can run it down to the ground since therd is not much to ruin at TIAA

I share your sentiments. This leadership group, NOT leaders, have brought shame with their deceit and half witted decisions. If we are losing money, why pay so much to the executives? Also why waste on a building when we could’ve worked from home and saved on travel budgets. What do I know? I use common sense. T is the Temu of CEOs, foorrrr surrre!

I don’t get the “practically guaranteeing two years employment” claim? They could lay you off anytime after you land there and you are entitled to TIAA severance, but no one is saying they’ll keep you on 2 years? I’d treat 2 years as a maximum.

Still better than an immediate layoff imho

My opinion...if you are being moved over, you have two years to get an exit plan in place and executed. Accenture will not keep your salary and benefits. They are in the outsourcing business. Your role there is to get them through the transition, give them time to train someone much cheaper than you and come month 25, you are gone if you aren't already done.

Oh I get now why the leaders had guilty tone on the calls today because we who are moving are getting a good deal with Accenture? If this was a great strategic partnership , why every leader’s tone was down except the Oscar lady as usual. My mgrrrrrrrrr said learn more over in coming days and keep an open mind and it will be rocking for me personally. My point was not about money offer .... but TIAA insulting itself being an 106 year old company but not able to master the business and become the market leader but relying on others which is Bbbbbbb Ssssssss

Its not ideal by any means. And it's frustrating, hurtful, insert whatever other emotion you want. But if you have a family like I do who relies on my job for health insurance, this is so much better than the alternative of just being laid off with severance. I get a five month heads up for when I'll be off tiaa benefits and get a guaranteed job with benefits after that. I know I have two years to find a new job with no stress or concern for my family. It's overall a very good deal

Well those of us stuck at TIAA will be scared at month 1. We would be lucky to make it till month 25.
If you are like me and don't mind retiring think about what this can do, you can eek out couple of years of employment and boost your retirement savings.

Some educated speculations. TIAA is sweetening the pot for Accenture as their current employees don't receive the salaries and benefits that TIAA provides. Accenture has two years to learn what they need to know, that seems about right. I'd be scared on month 25.

I am staying with TIAA but I know few people who are moving over. And you know what the deal ain't bad, not bad at all by any means.

Lot of good things:
Remote stays remote, even hybrid folks can sneak out a day of remote since it won't be monitored
Same salary as tiaa and will still get 2024 bonus.
If you get laid off within 24 months they will honor tiaa severance package
They will honor tiaa PTO
Two years tenure for CWs don't apply to accenture.

If that ain't a sweet deal I don't know what is. Holy cr-p it feels like they are getting better deal because those of us staying will always be under threat of being laid off.

Accenture is practically guaranteeing 2 years of employment. One sweet deal folks... one sweet deal.

Just a disgusting way to layoff without providing severance.

If this was such a sweet deal why didn't any of the leaders move to Accenture except few.
