Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Truth Serum Bingo, coming soon to a Social Thursday near you.

Truth serum, truth serum, truth serum.

Northstar, Northstar, Northstar.

Strategic partnership, Strategic Partnership, Strategic Partnership.

The only thing missing was everyone's favorite........Otis & Rosie. Good grief.

For the next All Hands/Town Hall, I'm about to create a drinking game and type up some Bingo cards to go along with it. And the background design on the cards will feature images of clapping seals. 👏 🦭

Please let me know what other words/phrases should be included Heck, might as well try to have some fun with it.

Sastry knows we can’t transform fast enough to stay cost competitive by ourselves. I don’t share his enthusiasm that this will work because our processes aren’t as standardized as we need to for this to be easy for Accenture to pick up. But maintaining the status quo and using spreadsheets and manual data entry isn’t an option either. If you actual think that is when you can go to any other company and move money instantly and have it done automated in the background you’re kidding yourselves.

The delivery on the change was horrendous, don’t get me start there what genius’s pat themselves on the back when they know everyone is unhappy and the day of the change. It’s complete cringe to say the least.

I am so sick of being spoken to in a condescending tone and with politician speak. Kourtney and T speak like they are in the campaign stump. Stop already. Act like anything but business so called leaders. There isn’t one time these two can speak with our script and teleprompter. The claps were low volume too. We are all over it. And all this drama please just send an email with announcement and FAQs. This was over the top.

I caught onto that truth serum BS also. It was more, Chloroform.
And then Sastry with his bullish feeling. There was definitely BULL in those repetitive town halls, but is was all BS. I felt bad for the executives who were transferring out and then paraded to show how they feel about this.
Their MO is the same, waste everyone’s time using repetitive phrases almost as if to convince themselves and still provide very little useful info.
T must stand for Temu, because that’s the quality of leadership we got now, compared to before. I read earlier on here, their leadership is like Dave Chapelle once said, “it’s like finding a crack pipe beside your Uber driver’s seat.” We don’t know what’s gonna happen next.

They normally leave the cameras running for at least a minute or two after these types of events. In an effort to show folks walking up to the fearless leaders and fawning all over them to shake their hands and gush about how inspiring their words were.

They cut the feed off so quickly this time because everyone just got up from their seats immediately and made a beeline up out of there. Because they knew everything they had just been fed was a load of hogwash.
