may I ask if you were on a Virtual Account team and or what region. On my VAM they hired 2 new people in last 6 months but they are young. It would seem that would save them money but our salaries are LOW and draws aren't great either so the only way to make any money is to sell above draw, which means more revenue for company. In other words, to the best of my knowledge the people they laid off were not making that much more than a new person and the new person needs HOURS and MONTHS of training to be able to really sell so they hurt revenue. Make it make sense.

What is the difference? You seem to think there is some sort of organized plan. The plan is fire as many as possible whenever...

By moving business from direct sales (25% Sale Revenue) and 75% post sale revenue, Xerox can reduce revenue even faster. Give the 75% to a dealer, genius.

1 - You weren’t alone
2 - It is incremental to the 15 percent
3 - It has been in process for weeks
4 - It will largely be positioned as laying off underperformers. However, they will not open requisitions to backfill. It’s a reduction in sales and further movement towards pushing the sales responsibility to the independent channel.

Direct sales won’t exist in 2 years, maybe sooner.
