How many merchandisers have to work CPU ever single day ? We are getting pulled every day to do other people’s job, CPU, fresh or run register. Yet when we are short handed no one helps us out. It is getting ridiculous . We are getting yelled at by leads because our own jobs aren’t getting done one minute and the next they pull us to go help out another area .

At our club the while merchandisers do cpu the FFT has to pick up the slack.. it's crazy we all get sc--wed
CPU makes more so if you are making less and made to work there for the day , you should be making what they receive but that is not the case. Maybe they should get off their phones, stop talking, stop goofing off and work!
All merchandisers need to go back to overnights. Problem solved.
It has always been that way. Managers have to overstaff it so things can get done. They want everyone to pull 100 items an hour but you can't do that plus stage 100 items an hour while helping members when toy are on the floor picking. Then when staging you have to stop and help dispense because one person can't dispense to 16 spot at one time. We regularly have cars waiting to pull into spot as soon as one leaves. Also get the orders to the cars in under 5 minutes. While you are doing that stop and help the members that won't check in cause they don't want to download the app. They want to either call the store but no one answers and that's cpu fault or just show up in the time slot and you should just know they are there and bring it out. Then they complain cause they waited an hour even though they didn't check in. The area is destined to fail.
Our store used to be like that but our manager finally decided to hire an additional 6 associates for CPU and just posted today to add more. CPU is a very demanding department so all managers need to make sure their department is fully staffed so merchandisers can do their job
