What fresh h*ll is HCM?

Have y’all heard of this? I just got wind of it today- coincident with Polaris upgrades, no more career ownership, no more CareerConnect development and SDA skills…. we will instead be managed by “Human Capital Management” (HCM). Which honestly sounds more like Cattle Management to me…
Can’t wait until AI and SAP in Polaris determines my next career move….
Can anyone from HR confirm? Rumour or reality?

S&D Manager and the Talent Manager are incompetent. Good HR people doesn’t last very long in this company. Especially when they see how dysfunctional it is.

This is the natural de evolution of the ranking process outsourcing. We need a group in India, Argentina, Africa or some other low cost area to handle our ranking and piping. The USA managers dont give a dam about us here in the US so what is the difference if an Indian or African half a world away ranks us. The managers and supervisors here just do what the higher ups say which is reduce the work force by 10 percent each year.

They just need to fire the S&D and talent managers. Stop rotating people who have no background in HR and who have horrible people skills into these positions. It’s like asking my plumber who cleaned out my sewer to perform open heart surgery on my father.

I hate all of this s hit. I wish I could just do the work and get paid for what I am good at. There are too many hoops to jump trough just get any work done. It doesn't matter anymore for me as I am just waiting to go. Here it is simple do x amount of work and get paid x amount of money. Wow. No we have do work, admin, MOC, useless training , united way, interact with countless a holes and Etc. Then we are ranked in this horrible system( squid game, hunger games). Don't forget kissing a ss that counts for almost 90 percent of ranking. F all the systems exxon has in place.

And isn’t this change being led by someone / some people from Finance?(and sounds like they named this). I’ve found finance folks are as bad if not actually worse than engineers when it comes to leading people, assessing people, and helping manage your career.

AI would undoubtedly do a better job than the current S&D hipo sponsor network system except I’m sure somehow they will make it a separate system for hipos and a separate system for the non-hipos
