How many senior managers bothered to show up at the poster sessions. I saw CP (midstream) and CP (CNE).
I was surprised at the amount of drinking going on especially with some managers.
It was a nice distraction to get away from the office. I got to network with other folks and I got to see a Chevron employee give a Ted talk in a unicorn costume which was NOT that bad
I'm so glad so many people went to learn about topics that could have been an email or in a Sharepoint site. Seriously, look at all the hours of productivity lost, money spent and attendees that just went to have a small vacation from work.
Did anyone learn anything? Sure, does it matter or change that many of those areas will be having jobs move overseas? Nope.
