So when are the big layoffs going to happen? Been quiet this week so far. Happening this Friday or not until next week?

I heard Tuesday the 15th.
My friend was just laid off today.
Any word on which business lines would be impacted?
There's an AMA with Dilip V scheduled for the 16th. Very interested to see the comments on that AMA given that layoffs will be happening simultaneously.
They like to do them on Wednesday and Thursday you will be working then all of the sudden there is a team meeting at said time. And you know in your gut what it is. Normally done by a higher up manager not your go to manager.
In my opinion, the managing committee lost the company about this time last year with the beginning of the mixed signals, conflicting points and overall lack of concern regarding employee impact of RTO after fully encouraging remote working environment, hiring employees in a fully remote classification and accenting the double standard (and now no uniform standard) of who should/must return to a USB office.
The lack of leadership capable of a consistent, articulated and explained plan for a return to office environment, with extremely problematic and pathetic execution is absolutely shocking. Every MOVE Champion call is fully scripted, provides no substantive information and reinforces how poorly thought out and ever shifting the RTO plan really is and how unimportant the needs of the employee and their bank customer really is in this charade with no purpose.
I also heard that Wednesday Oct. 16 will be an eventful day.
Wednesday of next week.
Next week, prob mid week.
The lack of transparency around the layoffs is comtemptible.
The senior management team has lost the confidence of the entire staff of the organization.
They have started!
