CBU is a liability after what HR, SCM and Legal have done to it.
It used to be at a certain size where this sh-t can be hidden because some decent money was coming.
Now, there is no way the smaller CBU can handle these liabilities let alone keeping the ones who caused them.
The word in the street is to close the BU and run the NOJV out of Houston while keeping the Atlantic Place office in SJ's as demanded by NFL government.
Everyone in Calgary is pretty much useless after CNRL takes on whom they need.
The wild card which is not too clear js Liard and I will boy be surprised if they sell it as well.
Staying in a country requires so much overhead for legal, labor laws, government relations, etc that it is not worth it without a meaningful position or lot of potential. Oh Canada!
