Nobody works for a title. They are meaningless.
It's laughable that they made all the former BBG folks "Executive Directors" the same as mid-market (and now, the new carve out, "mid-corp" bankers) and corporate bankers. Nevermind those SVP titles people worked hard for. I quit shortly after that. Place is a joke.
HR is clueless, but know that any chance only benefits the company. Transparency would be nice but leadership wants toxicity
HR mantra: Inflate the title, deflate the compensation.
title changes are made to adjust pay and eliminate bonus eligibility-IMO.
