What’s going on with GBD? So many states on performance . People getting moved. Claims processing offshore. Is GBD in danger ?

various state contracts prevent certain markets from moving offshore. It also violates cms compliance. We will always maintain a good portion of gbd claims onshore.
If they are offshoring most of the GBD work, why are they wasting money on the rented GBD office space in each state that are mostly empty of workers? Just another tactic to get people to quit by forcing them into an office so they don't have to payout Supp? Once they have gotten rid of enough headcount to appease the board and WallStreet, they should close those offices and allow the few remaining GBD staff to work from home 100% and save the money.
I say move my name to the top of the RIF list. This is exhausting and I’m willing to get RIF’d to give someone else the opportunity to stay.

Gbd did get hit, their provider customer service department got offshore to the Philippines and The claims processing department got offshore to carelon global solutions in India. Rumor has it that case management will also be offered to the Philippines. So many offshoring happening
@overittt...GBD was hit hard in prior rif, but from my understanding, they will be hit hard again with rifs because a great deal of GBD will be given away to offshore.
